A Word From Your Pastor:
Welcome to 2019! It’s a new year with new opportunities, new challenges but the Same Prince of Peace giving us the ultimate support that only He can
provide. I look forward to seeing what Jesus has in store for us in this coming year. Regardless of the journey we should take comfort in knowing that He
provides us peace in every situation.
John 20:19 is our verse and theme for the new year. The verse ends with “Peace be with you!” This year we will be challenged in various ways but always remember that His peace will take you through every circumstance. His Peace brings solace to us as only He can provide. Jesus’ Peace is priceless to the believers in Him when we give Him our difficulties
and believe what He is capable of doing in our lives.
Enjoy January, hopefully we will get 20 inches of snow and have a great winter experience shoveling snow and scraping our windshields. Probably not, but live your life knowing His Peace is in you and that He can accomplish much in and through us. Live at Peaceso you can handle the ups and downs of our lives.
Peace be with you in this new year we are about to go through together!

                                                 Your Pastor,

Christmas Choir
Thank you so much to everyone from FBC Caruthersville for allowing us to present the Christmas musical, “The Bells of Christmas”. Thank you to everyone in the choir for your hard work in putting this program together. I’m proud of each one of you. Thank you also to your families for their patience and understanding as we rehearsed and worked to put this night together.
Thank you to Bro. Jimmy for building our props for our set. They look great! Also, thank you for all the encouragement and help along the way in putting this musical together. Thank you to Kristy Riggs for all your help, hard work and encouragement through this process, not only with the choir, but also with Extreme Arts. You are amazing!! I cannot thank you enough for all the things you do to help behind the scenes that you don’t get nearly enough credit.
Thank you to James Prater for running our multimedia and sound for this project. Also, thanks to Austin Brooks and Samantha Barksdale for
volunteering to run lights. Our musical couldn’t happen without you three! Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your gift of salvation and for the song you daily put in our hearts. It was a pleasure to direct the Christmas
choir this year, and I hope we can do more in the coming year.
                                                                                      Singing His Praises,

Extreme Arts will be on break until January 13th. At that time, we will begin working on our Spring production to be presented in early May. I want to thank everyone for all the hard work you did this past season, and for helping to put together such a fun night of fellowship. If you are in 6th - 12th grade and
would like to be a part of Extreme Arts this year, please join us for rehearsal on January 13th at 4:00 pm in the choir room. See you all in a few weeks!

If you would like to be put on the calendar for special music, please see Bro. Phil.
Share your talents with the church for the glory of God!
