Annie Armstrong Easter Offering to date $2,115.50 our goal $3000.00

discontinue the “back pack” program since school would soon be dismissed for the summer, but would instead collect various school supplies, including uniforms, underwear and socks for needy children throughout the summer months in preparation for the next school year. Melissa McClain volunteered to update the Prayer Chain and is already working on this project. A new list of nursing home resident’s birthday’s has been given to Renee Young, one of our “Cheergreeters” for the purpose of sending cards on their special days. Cards are sent to those members who are ill or home bound. Don’t forget our project of “pillow cases for Haiti” and the collection of used Sunday School material and devotionals for a jail ministry. We have begun collecting items for our “Easter Baskets for foster children” ministry and lists of needs are on the table in the fellowship hall as well as other places throughout the church. Marilyn Boyd is circulating a sign up lists for those who will supply baked goods for our bake sale in the Wal Mart parking lot on Saturday, March 26. Proceeds will got to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering. The youth is in charge of donations for Nails to be given in memory or honor of loved ones and friends with proceeds from that also going to Annie Armstrong. The nails can be obtained for a $5.00 donation. Laura Boyd answered questions and gave information on her upcoming training and mission trip in the summer. She is to let us know what supplies she may need for the trip and we have voted to give a contribution of $100.00 toward that trip. A list of Prayer Partners who will call each other each day for the purpose of praying with, requesting prayer for, or just to see if that person is all right can be found on the round table in the fellowship hall. If you would like to partner with someone, please sign the list and include the name of whom you would like as your partner. Our next gathering will be on Monday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. The theme will be “Aroma Of The Spirit.” Ladies, please make plans to attend.   Prayerfully Yours, Jo Ann Manz

Mission Moments: Spring is in the air and Women On Mission are gearing up for another busy season. We held our March gathering at the “Rainbow Inn” (church fellowship hall) on March 14 with 20 ladies in attendance. The overall theme for this quarter is “Release The Fragrance Of Christ.” The theme for our March meeting was “Fragrance of Life.” Women were introduced to various perfume scents and asked if they could identify them. They were then asked if they could relate these scents to someone’s life. A short program was given on ways we, as believers, can project the “scent of Heaven” in our lives. An Irish meal was served and the meeting was called into business session. The ladies decided to

Youth News from Daniel’s Den:
What an awesome time of year. It seems that spring has sprung and God is blessing us with new growth and beauty every day. He is also blessing us with a lot going on in the youth group. We are seeing many blessings each and every week and it is AWESOME!
As many sports & things are starting back up, your youth may find it difficult to juggle school, sports, and youth as well. I would ask that you be in prayer for the students. Also encourage and support them to find that balance that still brings them to the fellowship and growth that comes with being here at church.
As I said above, we have a lot going on right now, youth meetings, the youth committee working hard, fund raisers, and the struggles of every day life. Fundraising is a big push right now and we are now selling the coke products. Please support the students as they are out working hard to sell products to help build up the youth fund. All Coke products orders are due on the 13th and we will be delivering on the 19th. Please mark your calendars for this date as all the students will be needed to not only sort the orders, but help with the delivery.
We also will be having a Road Block Day on April 2nd with more details to come very soon. We will be setting up road blocks throughout the town and collecting donations. This is a good opportunity for the students to raise more funds for things that they have stated they would like to do. Our goal is to keep these fund-raisers going so we will have the capability to do more mission type ministry work not only within the church, but in the community.
We still have a few spots left for Crossings camp left on the guys side...the girls side is filled up at this time. I will be posting lists around the church so you can see the students that are going and start praying for their experience. I also have some that have not paid as of yet. If you are one of these, please lets get these funds in as soon as we can. I will be passing more info as it becomes available as far as what needs to be done online.
Thank all of you for allowing me and my family serve for and along side of you.                   In HIS Hands,

Bro. Doug & Church Family,
We are blessed with a wonderful Christian family and many great friends. Please accept our sincerest thanks for all your many acts of kindness during the illness and loss of my Daddy. We miss him very much, but we know he is with our Lord with no more heart problems, kidney problems, and I’m sure finally hearing the angels singing! Your visits, calls, flowers, food, prayers and making us feel loved mean so much to us, and we thank you and love you. Please keep us in your prayers. We have had a difficult year and will need prayers to help sustain us through the difficult days to come.
                                   In Christian Love,
Christy and the family of Buck Ferrell

Fund Raiser Fair
The youth and the mission trip committee has placed a FR Fair in the fellowship hall. This way you
can see everything at one time. All the items are what you use anyway like, coke products, t-shirts, flowers & veggie sets, hanging baskets, cookbook. Also the W.O.M. have their mission fund raisers out too. You can purchase a memorial nail for the Easter Cross which goes to Annie Armstrong, or give toward the Easter baskets for foster kids, or give to the school
supply ministry. This should be offering money not Tithe. The Tithe comes first to the general fund.
Thanks for your support.
